Commercial for Batson Enterprises
While Director of Marketing at Batson Enterprises, we had built a small photography/video studio to increase our production levels. The first course of action was to create a commercial about building fishing rods to increase awareness about Batson and their product lines.
But we also made this commercial available to their dealers in which we would put the dealer logos at the end of the video.
Product Spotlight Video
We did a series of product spotlight videos over a four year period. We took what was previously done by the company, which was low-end infomercial quality which did not fare well when compared to the competition. So we took a documentary type approach, add some dramatic lighting with an interview approach with the CEO and the Product Designer.
This video was used to launch the product but also available for the dealers to use to promote retail sales.
Batson Enterprises “Meet the Family”
Batson Enterprises is a family-owned fishing rod company with a 20+ year history in the industry. Being big on family and the family’s roots in the fishing rod industry, we wanted to open up the curtain so to speak and let the audience into the family behind the business.
In this particular video CEO Bill Batson interviews his sister Tammy.
Batson Enterprises Lifestyle
When you are a fishing rod company you need videos showing the gear in action. For this particular shoot, we wanted to show the angler lifestyle, wake up early and set up the rods while on the boat. We then went 40-miles off the coast of Washington State searching for Albacore and from there it was non-stop action. We made multiple videos from this trip, featuring different anglers.
